hard disk recovery

We offer Server recovery services for any type of system including standalone one disk servers and multi disk servers in any raid configuration including Raid 5, Raid 1, Raid 0 etc. We recover from all the major computer server manufacturers including Dell, Compaq, HP, IBM, Lacie,, Buffalo, Fujitsu, IBM etc. Call us on 01628 563228 for a free quote.

We offer three service options, which comprise the following:

Standard - £500 Express - £900 Critical - £1500

Our 'Standard Data Recovery Service' is a 2-4 day working day service, 'Express Data Recovery Service' is 1-2 working days and our 'Critical Data Recovery Service' is usually 24 hours. We recover 95% of all raid servers for our standard price of £500+vat providing the disk does not have a mechanical failure. The above pricing is based on a standard 3 disk Raid 5 system. If there are more disks or a rebuild has taken place then the price will be more.

We have an office in both Belfast and London so disk's can be dropped off or sent into us via the postal or courier system. We believe we offer the quickest and best Raid Server Data Recovery Expertise in the UK and Ireland to recover from all types of Server Raid systems. We have recovered from 1000's of Server Raid systems over the last 10+ years. Please call us on 01628563228to speak to one of our highly qualified engineers for an instant quote or request a quote using our online 'Request a Quote' form.

We specialise in recovering data from failed Raid systems including Dell Performance, Dell PowerEdge, Dell Enterprise RAID Array, Dell PowerEdge Blade Server, Compaq Proliant, Compaq Proliant Blade, Compaq AlphaServer, HP Proliant, HP Proliant Blade, HP StorageWorks etc.

We have been recovering Data from all types of Raid systems going back the last 10+ years. Our expertise is 2nd to none and in 99% of Server Data Recovery cases we recover all data. We backup our expertise with our No Fix No Fee service so if we do not recover your data we don't charge you.

We recover Server systems from all types of server operating systems including Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows 2003, Microsoft 2008, Mac OS X Server, Unix, Linux, FreeBSD, openBSD, Solaris, IBM AIX, HP HP-UX, Windows Small Business Server etc. So no matter what the file system is, whether its Apple HFS+, Windows NTFS, Linux Ext2, Ext3, Ext4, XFS or ZFS we can recover your data for you.

Recovery Process:

Depending on the type of Dell Raid system, the data recovery process can take several paths depending on the Dell Raid configuration of your server system.

In all cases all hard disks are imaged as part of our standard recovery procedure. This ensures the intergity of the original hard disk's.

We then work with the hard disk images to process the Dell Raid system by recompiling the data. This process depends on your Dell Raid configutation but often involves de-stripping or recompiling the hard disk images and then processing the data.

We are the only data recovery company that images all hard disks before and after de-stripping-recompiling to ensure the highest possible chance of recovering your data.

If you are unsure what the file system configuration is we can also determine the configuration for you.

Server Raid Configuration:

Servers support several different data storage configurations, which provide the owner/business of the system with different data protection levels and different recovery chances if the Server fails.

RAID 0: Data is distributed across the drives. This is the best-performing configuration with maximum data capacity. A single drive failure causes loss of all the data. This method is gradually getting replaced with other raid configurations but is still being used in basic server systems.

RAID 1: In this configuration two shared disks are mirrored. This configuration provides great speed but only half of the potential storage capacity. This configuration is rarely used on servers and more on NAS Devices but we still see some server systems with this configuration.

JBOD: This ensures full storage capacity and good performance. Single drive failure may cause all data loss. We see this very rarely on any servers.

RAID 5: This is now the most popular and the default for the latest Raid servers. Data is distributed across the drives using backward parity rotation. This configuration is fast but space equal to one disk's capacity is lost. The server system will continue to operate normally even after single drive failure. 90% of servers we receive in are setup as Raid 5.

Different computer servers support different interfaces. Some of the interfaces supported include: PATA Hard Drives, SATA Hard Drives, Portable Hard Drives, Mobile Hard Drives, IDE Hard Drives, SATA Hard Drives, SATA II Hard Drives, SATA 2 Hard Drives, SATA III Hard Drives, SATA 3 Hard Drives, eSATA Hard Drives, SAS Hard Drives, SCSI Hard Drives, iSCSI Hard Drives, ESDI Hard Drives, Fibre Channel Hard Drives, USB Hard Drives, Firewire Hard Drives and PCMCIA Hard Drives.

Step 1

Telephone us on 01628 563228for a quote. Remove disk's from server and label them in numbering sequence as per server. Phone us on 01628 563228to arrange to drop of the disk to us. If you are posting in disks to us please send the Hard Drives via a suitable postage service along with your Contact Details (Full Name, Full Postal Address, Phone Number, Email Address). If you don't specify standard of service the Raid system will get booked in under our standard service. You can use the 'Shipping Form' to print out your details and send with hard disks. We recommend Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. It is a guaranteed next day service so if you send today we will receive tomorrow. The average costs for raid server disks are £10.00+ via this delivery method and the contents are fully insured up to a value of £500.

Step 2

Once we receive server disks we will inspect and perform a full diagnostic on disks to confirm the problem and the level of data recovery that we can attain from your Raid system, we will contact you ASAP to determine what data you want recovered. We normally be in contact within 24 hours with the average standard recovery job taking 4 days to complete.

Step 3

We recover the data and send you details via email for you to conform the data before you pay us for the recovery services. Once we receive payment we will backup the data you want and copy the contents onto a suitable media. We normally advise all cleints to get everyting backed up to either data dvd or an external/portable hard disk.

Step 3

We send the recovered data back to you via a Next Day Courier Service. Our aim to complete the Data Recovery Service within 24-96 hours of receiving the hard disk. We believe we offer the quickest turnaround service and best value data recovery service within the UK and Ireland.
